Spring Football 2019: Providence Panthers

Providence Panthers Head Coach Brad Bowles welcomed over 15 college football coaches to his 2019 Night of Champions, showcasing his players on a pleasant night in May. Bowles is one of the best class acts of coaches that I know, building this Panthers program up to a conference champion and state playoff team last season.

And the thing I love most about how he does it, is that he does everything the right way - working hard, having positive spirit in the program, great assistant coaches, and instilling an attitude that no matter what they do, they’re going to do it 110%. For those reasons, I expect the Panthers to challenge for the South Meck 7 conference title once again as well as a playoff spot in the state playoffs.

After the Night of Champions, the Panthers gave a brief glimpse into their offense and defense in some 7 on 7 action, and as you would expect, the Panthers flew around and made plays on both sides of the ball. There will be some new names to step up to fill some big shoes, but based on what I saw I don’t doubt their abilities to be successful.

Please enjoy these pictures from the Night of Champions, and stay tuned for much more from the Panthers!
