The CFI Story
Inspiration
Charlotte Football Insiders (CFI) is a passion project by Matt “Pepman” Morrow formerly of Carolina Varsity, and several other wonderful people behind the scenes. We aspire to promote as many kids, coaches, teams, schools, and sports as possible through multiple forms of media and different avenues of expression. These include Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Youtube, Maxpreps, and many more through established partnerships in the media!
Coverage
CFI strives to cover high school football all year long as our sport has grown into a true all around event. From combines to 7 on 7’s to practice visits, preseason scrimmages, regular season games, and the playoffs - make CFI your one stop shop for all of the photos, videos, interviews, analysis, and so much more across the Charlotte Metro Area! Credibility
Matt “Pepman” Morrow has been nationally credited for videos throughout the Harding Rams 2017 State Championship Run, having been featured on Sporting News, CNN, and Daily Blast Live for highlight videos as well as interviews. Morrow also has been credited for photos, video highlights, and interviews by The Charlotte Observer. Over 100 college coaches are followers on Twitter and having coached in the area for over 13 years, CFI has established relationships in the coaching fraternity and the community with the same vision - putting kids first.
Partnership
CFI strives to always provide fair and balanced coverage to ALL schools in the Charlotte Metro Area. This takes a partnership between players, coaches, and schools that has been established through years of consistent coverage, and standing up for the players and coaches always before anything else.
